Nigerian Communication Commission Chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande and his wife, Modupe Akande on Thursday revalidated their membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The revalidation and registration exercise was done at Akande’s Ward 8, Otu, his hometown in Itesiwaju Local Government, Oke Ogun Area of Oyo State.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, the NCC Chief said the exercise was designed to strengthen the party in the state towards getting the state back in 2023.
He noted further that the registration of new members and revalidation of old ones is to have a strong database and strategically work in boosting the status of the party in Oyo State and by extension Nigeria.
The APC is conducting a nationwide membership registration exercise between February 9 and 25.
