The immediate past council chairman of Ogo Oluwa Local Government Area of Oyo state, Pastor Jesutoye Oluyinka has doled out cash and a motorcycle to empower no fewer than fifty (50) members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the council, charging them to keep faith alive.
Jesutoye, also lauded the APC members for their unwavering support and loyalty to the party as well as ALGON, especially during the legal battle with the Oyo state government.
Addressing the party faithful which cuts across the ten (10) wards in the council area at Elega recently, the former Oyo ALGON scribe explained that he had designed a template to appreciate members for their commitment, assuring that “more are still going to benefit from the gesture”.
“What I give is to appreciate members of the APC in Ogo-Oluwa Local Government for their loyalty, commitment, and most importantly, for standing by ALGON during the legal battle with the Oyo State Government. More are still going to benefit from this programme”, he reassured.
He further urged members to remain faithful to the progressive party, maintaining that their efforts will never go unappreciated.
The beneficiaries showered encomiums on the benefactor, describing him as a shinning light in the APC. They, however assured the ex-council chief of their renewed commitment to the party.
