The lawmaker representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has expressed deep sorrow upon hearing the news of the passing of Princess Adenike Adebowale-Atoyebi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Oyo North Senatorial Woman Leader.
Senator Akintunde mourned her sudden demise, highlighting the significant loss it represents for the progressive movement, particularly in the Oke-Ogun geo-political zone of the state.
In a heartfelt condolence statement, the lawmaker praised the late Princess Adenike Adebowale-Atoyebi as a remarkable political leader who consistently promoted unity among APC members in the Saki East Local Government Area, contributing significantly to grassroots development.
The lawmaker expressed his distress that she would not witness the full establishment of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope administration, despite her unwavering dedication to the party during the last general elections.
Akintunde further extended his sympathies to the Ago-Amodu royal house and, most importantly, the family of the late Oba Atoyebi.
He offered prayers for the late APC leader, asking the Almighty to grant her eternal rest and to provide the bereaved family and friends with the strength to cope with her passing.
