The member representing Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Engr. Aderemi Oseni has assigned portfolios to seventy (70) appointed special assistants, urging them to prioritise meeting the needs and expectations of their constituents.
Oseni, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), announced during a formal meeting on Tuesday in Eruwa.
The lawmaker, represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Alhaji Hakeem Okedina, outlined the roles and responsibilities of the special assistants, tasking them with ensuring development across the constituency.
In a statement released on Wednesday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, Oseni emphasised the importance of delivering tangible results to the people who have placed their trust in him.
“The constituents expect a lot, and they deservedly want to see positive changes in their lives and constituency. As my representatives, you are now in the same boat with me and they expect that their lives will take a new and better turn,” Oseni said.
He further charged the appointees to act with integrity and dedication, stating, “You must work to make yourself worthy of God and the people, to make our esteemed constituents believe that the right hands are chosen.”
The special assistants have been assigned various portfolios that will address critical areas of development in Ibarapa East/Ido, with a focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. The move is part of Oseni’s broader plan to foster progress in his constituency and improve the lives of his constituents.
Oseni, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reaffirmed his commitment to delivering on his campaign promises, urging the appointed aides to see their roles as an opportunity to serve and make a positive impact on the community.
