Residents of Ibarapa East/Ido Federal Constituency in Oyo State are poised to benefit significantly from Engr. Aderemi Oseni’s comprehensive plans to enhance infrastructure, electricity, and healthcare services.
These initiatives promise crucial relief across the constituency, as the lawmaker unveils transformative strategies for key infrastructure and services.
Speaking at the official inaugural meeting of an independent political institution in the state that houses thousands of individuals who share his ideology – the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF), Waja unit in Ibadan on Monday – the lawmaker unveiled a comprehensive agenda designed to enhance the welfare and development of his constituents.
Oseni, who is also the House Committee Chairman on the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), noted that central to his plans is upgrading infrastructure across the constituency.
According to a statement signed by his Media Aide, Idowu Ayodele, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, Oseni disclosed that no fewer than eight (8) roads are slated to be tarred before the year’s end. He added that the first phase of twelve (12) transformers will be deployed to improve electricity distribution, addressing a critical need for reliable power supply in various communities.
The statement further indicated that the lawmaker is committed to constructing two hospitals, aimed at bolstering healthcare accessibility for residents of the constituency.
Highlighting the status of these projects, the APC chieftain emphasized that necessary approvals have been secured and tender processes are underway. He acknowledged challenges posed by fluctuating forex rates, which necessitated adjustments to the initial budgetary allocations.
Despite these hurdles, progress is imminent, with electrical contractors already inspecting designated transformer sites.
Oseni reiterated his commitment to the “liberation agenda” he champions, focusing on the holistic improvement of constituents’ wellness, well-being, and overall welfare.
Assuring prompt commencement of the roads and hospital projects, he expressed optimism about the transformative impact these initiatives will have on the local communities.
Commending the efforts and commitment of the Waja unit of the group, the lawmaker clarified that ROCOF is not a political party but a collective of like-minded individuals dedicated to the convener’s ideology and the transformation of their environment.
He emphasized his membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stated, “My agenda is to liberate and ensure the welfare of our people, which is the group’s primary focus. It’s crucial to clarify that ROCOF is not owned by individuals but welcomes all who share the convener’s ideology and seek positive change in their surroundings. It operates transparently, with membership open to all.”
“As a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), I will uphold justice, peace, and unity by fulfilling the party’s expectations and aligning with its core values, principles, and policies,” Oseni affirmed.
Continuing, the lawmaker encouraged members of ROCOF to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), promising constituents enhanced projects and quality representation.
