The Minority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape has mourned the death of the state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Rt.Hon. Kehinde Ayoola.
The Minority Leader, Alarape who also hails from Oyo town said in a statement made available to Mega Icon Magazine in Ibadan on Thursday that he was shocked by the news of Ayoola’s death.
“I received with shock the sudden death of former speaker of the 4th Assembly and Hon Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources Rt Hon Kehinde Ayoola. He was a prolific writer, seasoned politician, a farmer and family man. He will be greatly missed.
“May his gentle soul rest in the bossom of the Lord. May Allah grant his immediate family and all of us his friends and associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Goodnight Kenny, ejire ara isokun”, the former speaker concluded.
