THE much anticipated list of Caretaker Chairmen in Oyo State has been sent by the Governor, Abiola Ajimobi and received by the Oyo State House of Assembly, Mega Icon Magazine checks revealed.
In a telephone conversation on Friday, the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Honourable Bolaji Badmus confirmed that the list has been received but it is yet to be announced.
Badmus, who represent Akinyele State Constituency II hinted that the list will go through the normal legislative procedures before the final ratification.
His statement reads thus: “You know there is a procedure, the list has been sent and received, we have not had any plenary since that time because we are on seminal”.
“As the Chairman, House Committee on Chieftaincy Affairs, yes we have received the list but it has not been announced”.
