As part of his campaign promises, a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Yusuf Adebisi representing Ibadan Southwest State Constituency I, will on Saturday, unveil the first set of beneficiaries of the periodical vocational training for indigent and youths of the constituency.
The Deputy chief whip, in a statement signed by his media aide, Temitope Eluyefa, on Tuesday, informed that the programme, which is billed to hold at the vocational training and education center located within the constituency, covers the provision of skills training in tailoring, hair dressing, soap making, computer engineering, barbing, cosmetics, perfume making , beads making including free lesson for primary and secondary school students.
Also, the lawmaker promised to procure relevant equipments and tools according to beneficiary’s craft in order to kick start their various businesses after the trainings.
Adebisi, further reassured his constituents, particularly the youths of fulfilling his promise of empowering them, saying “We will leave no stone unturned”.
