Oyo guber hopeful, Olaniyan sympathizes with Olubadan over wife’s death

ONE of the governorship aspirants in Oyo state under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Raufu Olaniyan has sympathised with his Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, the Olubadan of Ibadan land, and the entire sons and daughters of Ibadan land over the demise of Olori Kudira, the Senior wife of Oba Adetunji, who recently passed away, describing her death as very sad and depressing.

Contained in a press statement issued by his media office and made available to Mega Icon Magazine, Engr. Olaniyan recalled how warmly he was received by the departed Olori Kudira, when he paid a courtesy call to the palace recently, reiterating that her gentle demeanor and amiable personality will be greatly missed by all who have had the opportunities to relate with her.

The retired permanent secretary noted “a person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on”, stressing that Olori Kudira continues to live through her children and the many lives she had positively affected.

The Igboho born politician added that her pleasantness and fond memories are what we have to remember Olori Kudira, urging the children to continue to pursue the lofty ideals she dedicated her life time to. Olaniyan prayed that God will grant the Olubadan and the entire royal family the grace to bear this loss.

The chief executive officer of westmidland construction company hoped that the love of family, friends, the people of Oyo state and particularly the good people of Ibadan land will comfort, His Imperial Majesty during these difficult days, while expressing his most heartfelt condolences.
