A socio-political group, Jagaban Army, Oyo State Chapter, on Wednesday, congratulated the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima on their victory in the country’s just concluded general elections.
The group, in its congratulatory message, noted that the victory is a welcome development for all Nigerians, assuring that a new dawn has come to the country.
Contained in a statement issued by its Brigade Commander, Banji A Banji, the Jagaban Army, also commended the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dayo Israel, for his foresight in establishing the APC National Youth Wing Campaign Council who played a great complementary role in the efforts that have now culminated in the victory of Tinubu.
The group further expressed its irrevocable loyalty and commitment to the progressive ideals of the National Youth Leader pledging that “whenever you call on us, we are ready to go all the way again.”
According to the Oyo Brigade Commander, the unwavering commitment of the leadership and members of Oyo Brigade through its diligent implementation of the deliver-your-street campaign as well as other tactical and strategic campaign moves was a major contributory factor to the victory of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Oyo State.
The Oyo brigade, however, urged Nigerians to close ranks and support the incoming administration of Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima.
