Oyo federal lawmaker, Ojoawo empowers constituents in Ibarapa

THE lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/North federal constituency, Hon Olugbenga Ayoade Ojoawo has distributed empowerment items worth millions of naira to his constituents.

Items distributed at the programme which was held on Friday at Igangan include motorcycles, hair dryers, fertilizers, sewing machines, generating sets among others

Speaking at the event, the lawmaker disclosed that he had earlier presented motions and bills pertaining to development of his constituency at the lower legislative chamber.

He explained that the distribution of empowerment materials became imperative so as to give back to the federal constituency .

Ojoawo, also urged his constituents to continue to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) led administration in the state.

He added that several projects have been completed in both Ibarapa North and Central local governments.

Some of the APC chieftains at the event, Including its Senatorial Chairman, Oyo South, Prince Adefioye Adekanye, state women leader, Mrs Mabel William, commissioner for special duties, Alh Fatai Adesina enjoined members of the party to remain committed and work collectively for its success in the forthcoming elections.

The programme which had in attendance royal fathers in the federal constituency also featured presentation of the plasma television sets to the monarchs as well as cash donations to the widows.
