Oyo Federal Lawmaker, Ogunwuyi Perfect Plans to Defect to PDP

A federal lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire federal constituency, Hon Segun Ogunwuyi has perfected plans to defect to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at any moment, Mega Icon Magazine reliably gathered.

Ogunwuyi who joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) few months ago fraternized with the Unity Forum whose members later joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), while others are returning to the APC

Ogunwuyi believed that his political associates, team were sidelined by Governor Abiola Ajimobi during the just concluded party Congresses.

Though, the lawmaker is yet to make any official declaration, but most of his supporters are not hiding it as they saw it as an opportunity to return to their original base .

According to sources closed to the lawmaker, the ADC is like a transit camp which may not be effective to wrestle power from APC in 2019 while PDP is seen as a formidable alternative to APC.
