Oyo APC guber aspirant, Buhari picks senate nomination form

SENATOR Abdulfatai Buhari representing Oyo North Senatorial District has declared his intention to seek re-election in 2019 on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Buhari, who was one the guber aspirant has picked his nomination and expression of interest forms at the APC headquarters, Mega Icon Magazine exclusively gathered.

The Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime, Buhari, who hails from Ogbomoso axis of Oyo state, was gathered, had already collected nomination form for reelection into the Senate.

He had commenced consultations with stakeholders in the district.With this development, the lawmaker has automatically dropped his guber ambition.

Meanwhile, the declaration of former Governor Alao-Akala for governor has created a walkover for the lawmaker’s reelection bid.

Buharis’s contribution to the district is unprecedented compared to previous senators who had earlier represented Oyo North at the Senate.
