Oyo state chapter of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, (ALGON) on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of late Pa. S.M Akindele.
The ALGON Chairman, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye who visited the family of the late Oyo Central Senatorial District Chairman, Pa. Akindele, in company with other council chairmen, including Hon. Sakiru Fagunwa, Ibadan South LCDA, Hon Wahab Oladejo from Ido Local Government, Hon Olumide Alli of Akinyele South LCDA, described the deceased as a great leader and highly resourceful politician who demonstrated great love and passion for the development of his people.
He added that Pa. Akindele believed in democratic principles, work assiduously to advance them and ensured the will of people triumphed.

Oyo ALGON also visited the family of Pa S.O Farinu, a former state chairman of the defunct ACN. While commiserating with the family of late elder statesman, Aleshinloye said Pa Farinu as a progressive leader acted his part well while on stage by resolutely fighting for the unity of the country.
