The Chairman, Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Oyo state , Prince Ayodeji Abbas – Alesinloye has joined millions of Nigerians in felicitating with the immediate past Governor Abiola Ajimobi, on his 70th birthday.
Prince Aleshinloye , who is also the Council Chairman of Oluyole Local Government paid a glowing tribute to the former governor for living a life of service to humanity and encouraging budding leaders.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, in Ibadan, the state capital, the ALGON Chairman said: “As you mark your birthday in good health, surrounded by family members and friends, which is one of greatest and happiest moments in one’s life, I convey to you my good wishes and that of the entire ALGON family”
Aleshinloye also added that former Governor Ajimobi dedicated most of his life to public service, working for the state and nation for many years, describing him as ‘a man of thorough seasoned politician, who walked the path of fire in his commitment to the cause of true democracy realization and emancipation of people’.
“Today, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi has written his name in gold and there is no doubt about the fact that Oyo State history cannot be completed without Ajimobi, the architect and founder of modern Oyo State.
“I wish you many more years of service and commitment to the nation. Happy birthday Your Execellency”, the statement reads.
