Oyo 2023: Alabi lauds Ibadan S’West APC stakeholders, members for successful congress

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Oladiran Alabi has commended stakeholders, members in Ibadan Southwest Local Government for the peaceful conduct of ward congress in the council.

The 2023 Ibadan South West Constituency 1 State House of Assembly hopeful, who stated this on Sunday while speaking with Mega Icon Magazine, also described the process as peaceful and unifying for the party.

Speaking further, he noted that the maturity exhibited has been exemplary and worthy of commendation, thus affirmed the fact that the council is indeed ; first among the equals.

His words, “I congratulate the entire party members of ibadan South West APC, and most especially, the stakeholders for peaceful conduct of the just concluded Ward congress that will usher in the party executive that will pilot the affairs of party in the local government.

“The maturity displayed has been exemplary and worthy of commendation and as thus affirm the fact that the local government is indeed first among the equals. This has shown that greater things can be achieved through unity and cohesiveness”, he added.

The Oyo APC chieftain, however wished the new party executive a good stay in office, charging them to work very hard with a view to reclaim Oyo State in the 2023 gubernatorial election, among others.
