Oyo 2019: Alli seeks support in Ibarapa, Oke Ogun for guber ambition

IT is imperative for members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and work collectively for the progress of the party in the 2019 general elections.

The Secretary to the Oyo state government, Alhaji Olalekan Alli stated this while addressing members of the APC in Ibarapa and Oke- Ogun zones in continuation of his consultation ahead of the governorship primary election billed for September.

According to Alli, his visit was to appreciate the zones for their loyalties to Governor Abiola Ajimobi and also to solicit support for his governorship aspiration.

Alh Alli who is one of the governorship aspirants assured the zones of more meaningful projects if given mandate to serve come 2019.

The Oyo state government scribe also promised the APC members that he will continue the good work of Governor Abiola Ajimobi and ensure progress in good governance.

His words”, my good people of Ibarapa, this is where I had my primary school education and I am familiar with the terrain hence the need for me to count on your support for my gubernatorial ambition”.

Alhaji Alli noted that Governor Abiola Ajimobi has raised the level of governance to an enviable height hence the need for an experienced man like him to paddle the affairs of the state.

Some of the APC stakeholders who spoke with our reporter pledged their total support for the aspiration of Alhaji Alli.

They said the humility and diligent of the Oyo SSG prompted them to drum support for the aspirant.
