In a statement marking Nigeria’s 63rd Independence Day, issued by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), emphasised the significance of the day and the country’s journey since its declaration of freedom.

He acknowledged the challenges currently facing Nigeria, including economic disparities and security concerns.

However, Oseni, stressed that despite these challenges, Nigeria’s determination to build a brighter future remains unwavering.

The statement reads, “Our journey has not been without its trials, but it is precisely through these challenges that we have grown stronger. We’ve faced economic uncertainties, political transitions, and social inequalities, yet we’ve persevered. We’ve learned that our unity is our greatest strength, and together, we can overcome any obstacle that stands in our way.

“Looking ahead to the future, we must continue to strive for a Nigeria that is just, inclusive, and prosperous for all its citizens. We must collaborate to address the pressing issues of our time, including poverty, corruption, security, and healthcare.
