Hon. Aderemi Oseni, representing Ibarapa East /Ido Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the House of Representatives, has extended his warm felicitations to Nigerian Muslims as they join millions of believers worldwide in commemorating the birthday of Prophet Muhammad during Eid-El-Maulud.
In a press release issued on Tuesday by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, and made available to newsmen, Oseni, who also chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), urged the faithful to exemplify the noble virtues of the Prophet in their daily lives, fostering the peace and unity essential for societal growth and progress.
“As I rejoice with you on this sacred and momentous occasion, I implore you to mirror in your lives the teachings of tolerance, patience, honesty, and good neighborliness, as preached and exemplified by Prophet Muhammad,” the statement affirmed.
Furthermore, the lawmaker called upon his constituents to offer prayers for the continued unity, peace, and advancement of the nation.
He emphasized that the celebration of Maulud should serve as a catalyst to strengthen their faith and rally together as a community of shared destiny, beseeching divine intervention for the unity, peace, progress, and stability of Nigeria, thereby propelling the nation towards its envisioned growth and development.
