Oseni Extols New Olubadan’s Ascension, Foresees Prosperous Future for Ibadanland

 

In a momentous ceremony imbued with cultural significance, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin, aged 89, was crowned today as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, eliciting congratulatory remarks and optimistic projections from Engr. Aderemi Oseni, the lawmaker representing Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency of Oyo state and Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).

In a statement issued by his media aide, Idowu Ayodele, Oseni hailed Oba Olakulehin’s ascension to the esteemed throne, describing it as a moment of pride for the entire Ibadan community.

The Ibadan-born politician and business magnate underscored the new monarch’s illustrious background, encompassing a distinguished military career, notable achievements in industry, and a commendable tenure as a former member of the House of Representatives.

“As the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin brings with him a wealth of experience and a robust network of connections that will undoubtedly catalyse greater development in our beloved city,” remarked Oseni.

He expressed confidence that under Oba Olakulehin’s leadership, Ibadan will witness significant progress across various sectors, leveraging the monarch’s strategic insights and leadership acumen.

The coronation ceremony, blending tradition with festivity, resonated deeply with residents and dignitaries alike, underscoring Ibadan’s enduring cultural heritage and unity nurtured by its traditional institutions.

The APC chieftain extended heartfelt congratulations to Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin on behalf of the constituents of Ibarapa East/Ido federal constituency, reaffirming his commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at promoting socio-economic development and well-being in Ibadanland.
