Olubadan to install Adenuga, Sanusi as Apesin Ola, Otun Apesinola of Ibadanland

THE ancient city of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital will be agog on the 20th of October when the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso I will be conferring chieftaincy titles on some successful businessmen.

Leading the pack of the beneficiaries are Engr. Dotun Sanusi, a successful business man and who is also the owner of Ilaji Stadium and Resorts Center, a multi-billion naira sporting and hospitality outfit situated in Akanran.

The Chairman of Globacom, the telecommunication giant, Otunba Mike Adenuga, is another beneficiary who will be installed as Apesin Ola of Ibadanland by the foremost traditional ruler.

In a letter dated 25th of September and signed by Mr. Adeola Oloko, the Personal Assistant/Media and Publicity to the Olubadan, sent to Engr. Dotun Sanusi, a copy obtained by Mega Icon Magazine through Mr Hazeez Ayansola, Engr Sanusi’s mouthpiece, Oba Adetunji noted that the contributions of Engr. Sanusi to the socio-economic development of Ibadanland is what informed Oba Adetunji to confer on him the Otun Apesin Ola and his wife, Mrs. Bellema Joyce Sanusi, as Yeye Otun Apesinola of Ibadanland.

Engr. Sanusi, an indigene of Ibadan who hails from Ikija Village in Oluyole Local Government, has his businesses namely- ICAST Schools, Ilaji Farms, Ilaji Stadium and Resorts Center, ICAST Advanced School- spread across Ido, Ona-Ara and Ibadan South-West Local Governments.

Engr. Sanusi who is a Petroleum Engineering graduate from University of Ibadan is also the Chief Executive Officer of TNL Drilling.
