Olubadan joins his ancestors after 5yrs on throne

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, is dead.

Although, there was no official confirmation of the death of the monarch, however, Palace sources who claimed anonymity confirmed the death.

The foremost monarch, who died at age 93, passed away today, 2 January, 2022 at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo state after reigning for 5 years

Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso 1) was on March 4, 2016 installed as the 41st Olubadan of Ibadanland by late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, at the historic Mapo Hall arcade, Ibadan.
