Old students reunite for 71st anniversary, to commission projects in Osogbo

The Old Students Association of Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo is billed to commence a 3-day activity to celebrate the school’s 71st anniversary.

The 71st anniversary celebration is set to kick off tomorrow (Friday) in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

Contained in a statement by its National President and Diaspora, Prof. Michael Ologunde, the association informed that the epoch celebration is borne out of the need to give back to the school that gave them the significant opportunity to launch themselves into different fields of human endeavor they are in today.

Ologunde stated that various projects targeted at improving the learning conditions of the school would also be commissioned.

‘We are giving back to our alma mater through various projects initiated to improve the learning conditions of the citadel of learning. This has been made possible by the cooperation of my friends -the old students that has passed through the school”, the statement said.

The schedule of activities, according to the President, is as follows:

I. News Talk on Osun Radio

ii. Finals of Interschools Debate and Quiz  Competition

Time : 10:00am

iii.  Jumat Service

Time : 1:00pm
