Ambassador Wale Ojo-Lanre, an Associate Editor of the Nigerian Tribune Newspapers, has been confirmed for the award of Distinctive Leadership and Resilient in Travel and Tourism Journalist of the Year 2018 award of The Tourism Transport Summit and Expo 2019.
Contained in the letter of confirmation dated 4th April, 2019, sent to the first-class tourism, travel and hospitality writer, Ojo-Lanre, it disclosed that after a careful and thorough evaluation, the panel has approved and confirmed him to receive the award.
According to the letter, “Sir, you were earlier nominated as one of the eligible recipients for the award, and after a careful and thorough evaluation by the panel, we are pleased to inform you that you have been approved and confirmed to receive the award: “Distinctive Leadership and Resilient in Travel and Tourism Journalist of the Year 2018”.
Also, the event, billed for Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, is a networking cocktail/full dinner recognition nite, designed as a platform to recognise and award the role of key leaders in the socio-economic development of tourism and transport industries in Nigeria.
