The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), on Wednesday suspended its Lagos State chapter’s Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, indefinitely.
Akinsanya’s suspension was contained in a letter signed by Kabiru Yau, General Secretary of the union and dated March 9, 2022.
Contained in the letter, the Lagos NURTW boss was accused of planning to instigate mayhem in the union branches that fail to obey his instructions.
The NURTW national body also directed MC Oluomo to hand over the leadership of the Lagos chapter to his deputy.
