Niger: Governor Bello swears in new commissioners

Governor Sani Bello of Niger State has sworn in four new commissioners into his cabinet, tasking them to work towards the achievement of his political ambition in 2019.

The newly sworn-in commissioners, numbering four include information, sports, lands and housing and budget and planning.

Bello had earlier swore in 14 commissioners this year following a major cabinet shakeup in 2017.

Speaking at the event, the governor also warned them against seeking personal aggrandizement at the expense of the people’s welfare, declaring that he will not hesitate to fire anyone found wanting.
