NGO gives succour to roadside sick patient in Ibadan

A Non – Governmental Organisation (NGO), Hope Also Needs Help Foundation (HANHF) recently extended its humanitarian services to a road side sick-patient who sustained left leg injury from a road accident along New Garage Owode-Apata axis of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.

The patient, identified as Mrs Yetunde Akinola, popularly addressed as ‘Iya ibadan’ as reliably gathered, has been mentally unstable for a long period of time, and her case has been uncared for due to the severe disturbance in her thought pattern. It was also learnt that the patient has not being identified with any of her family members.

A source who described her as a non violent patient assured that ‘Iya Ibadan’ may likely regain her sanity if well attended to medically.

Founder of the organisation, Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro ( Bibire Kosefowora),  in his remarks, noted that everyone deserves a comfortable life as right to live, and right to good health. He informed that it was on this premise that the organisation – Hope Also Needs Help Foundation (HANHF) picked Mrs Akinola, a neglected citizen who was knocked down by a wreckless hit and run driver sometimes in late June,2020.

Fagbenro further added that the foundation has so far been committed to her medical bills which included plastic surgery. The patient is currently receiving treatment on her leg ulcer at the Adeoyo Ring Road Hospitals, according to the doctor who diagnosed her
