After a frightening display in Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League victory on Tuesday night, Neymar went to celebrate at a Halloween party.

The Brazilian star scored the second in the French side’s 5-0 thrashing of Anderlecht, while also scaring the defenders all night with his attacking prowess and pace.

And keen to cap off the night on a positive night, the former Barcelona forward danced the night away in a spookily good costume.

Neymar dressed up as The Joker from the Suicide Squad film and he was joined by his friends, family and some of his current team-mates.

Among the attendees were PSG stars Dani Alves and Kevin Trapp, while Neymar’s sister Rafaella was also invited to the party.

The 25-year-old attacker posted a series of photos on his Instagram and kept his followers up-to-date with videos on his story.

PSG’s players had every reason to celebrate after securing the win, which saw Layvin Kurzawa become the first defender to score a Champions League hat-trick.

Marco Verratti was also on target in that Parc des Princes victory as PSG easily qualified for the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, Alves has revealed that he came agonisingly close to joining Liverpool from Sevilla back in 2006.

But the Reds, then managed by Rafa Benitez, pulled the plug on a £9million deal and the full back eventually signed for Barcelona in 2008, where he went on to win six La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues during eight years at the Nou Camp.

In another snap posted on Instagram, Neymar poses alongside his sister and friends

He told FourFourTwo: ‘I pretty much had an agreement with Liverpool.

‘But for whatever reason it didn’t happen at the last moment and I really don’t know why, as I wasn’t the one conducting the negotiations. I had other people representing me back then.

‘Something similar happened later in my career with Chelsea and Real Madrid. Of course, it all worked out happily for the Cules [Barcelona supporters] in the end, and also for me as I was able to write an amazing story at the Nou Camp instead.’
