Neymar insists he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain despite Real Madrid’s interest in signing Brazil star

Neymar has insisted he will remain at Paris Saint-Germain despite interest from Real Madrid.

The Brazil forward only joined the French champions last summer in a world-record £200million move but struggled to settle in Paris.

He has been linked with a move to Madrid since the Champions League winners sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

But speaking to Fox Sports in Sao Paulo, Neymar said: “I continue, I have a contract with Paris Saint-Germain, I went there for a challenge, for having new things and for the pursuit of objectives, and nothing changed in my head.”

Neymar struggled with injury towards the end of last season and although he recovered in time for the World Cup, his Brazil side crashed out at the quarter-final stage to Belgium.

Meanwhile, Real have reportedly agreed a colossal £170million deal for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.

Hazard’s time in west London appears to be coming to an end after the Belgium star openly courted a move away from Stamford Bridge.

The forward was one of the top performers in Russia but he would not be playing Champions League football next season if he was to remain at Chelsea.

And reports are now suggesting that the European champions may have a major breakthrough in their search for their next superstar.
