Neymar fed up with PSG again and will take pay cut to join Real Madrid

Neymar is increasingly regretting moving to Paris Saint-Germain and is prepared to take a pay cut to seal a move back to Spain with Real Madrid, according to reports in France.

The Brazilian became the most expensive player in the world when PSG paid out his £198m buy-out clause to prise him away from Barcelona, though he has had a tumultuous stay in the French capital so far.

Neymar clashed with Edinson Cavani over set-piece duties at the start of the season, though manager Unai Emery managed to calm both parties down, that tension was reignited in last week’s thumping win over Dijon.

With the French side already 7-0 up, Neymar decided to take a penalty that Cavani had won and which would have seen the Uruguayan break Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goal record.

The fans inside the stadium booed and jeered the Brazilian for his actions, and now L’Equipe report that their reaction has rattled Neymar and convinced him he needs to leave PSG.

He has not played since that win over Dijon – and is missing again against Guingamp in Wednesday night’s cup match – and returned to Brazil where he confessed to friends that he found the French league too raw and defensive.

Neymar is once again pondering leaving the club and his likeliest destination would be Real Madrid – and he has even told Los Blancos that he would be willing to take a pay cut on his astronomical wages to seal a move.

Catalan newspaper Sport backed up L’Equipe’s report, and claim Real have maintained contact with Neymar’s father and would like to make the Brazilian their new Galactico.

The Spanish champions, who have put up a weak defence of their title this season, sold a host of players last summer that raised in excess of £110m, while Cristiano Ronaldo – who is unhappy at the Bernabeu – could also be offloaded to fund a move for Neymar.
