Neymar fashion: How to dress like PSG’s slick Brazil star without selling your house

NEYMAR JR. puts as much flare into his fashion choices as he does his fancy footwork on the pitch.

PSG’s Brazilian forward, 26, is the world’s most expensive player and he’s certainly got a wardrobe to match. But you can easily steal his style by shopping on the high street.

Snakehips

Neymar looked slick at a fashion week party in a Balmain snakeskin biker jacket and leather trousers

Just like teammate Dani Alves, Neymar is a loyal fan of French fashion house Balmain.

He was spotted back in September at the label’s after-show party during Paris Fashion Week dressed entirely in its costly clothes.

Looking just as slick as he does on the pitch, he wore head-to-toe black and glossy animal skins.

The winger paired his snakeskin biker jacket with skintight leather trousers complete with racy lace-up sides.

These sold-out items amount to a whopping £5888 but shop around on the high street and you can grab something similar.

Boohoo Man’s real leather biker jacket is a total bargain at £48 and H&M’s immitation leather trousers have the same spray-on fit as Neymar’s Balmain ones.

And they are £1688 less!

Logo Man

Neymar partied at the Miu Miu X LOVE event wearing this rare Supreme X Louis Vuitton bomber jacket

Just as popular in fashion as he is in football, you can always spot Neymar at the hottest fashion parties.

During London Fashion Week he popped into the Miu Miu X LOVE party wearing a jacket that everyone there would have instantly recognised.

It’s from the collaboration with streetwear brand Supreme and luxury leather goods mogul Louis Vuitton.

This limited edition collection sold out from the moment it dropped into stores.

But Neymar managed to nab himself one of these £3147 babies that’s printed all-over with the iconic LV monogram logo.

For all of the fashion heads out there Supreme is like gold dust, but mix it with Louis Vuitton and it’ll cost you your left hand.

This exact jacket now sells for up to £16,695 on eBay.

A bit out your budget?

Copy his look with this cool jacket from Carharrt that has the same varsity-inspired striped webbing and pair it with shredded white skinny jeans for a relaxed look.

The Dark Horse

Staying true to Balmain once again – here’s Neymar before the party at Creative Director Oliver Rousteing’s Spring/Summer 2018 Womenswear show.

Looking effortlessly handsome in all-black, he mixed tailoring with a casual T-shirt for a smart look laced with nonchalance.

Neymar wore the brand’s signature double-breasted blazer with military-inspired gold buttons running through it.

This glamorous blazer will set you back £2350 but we’ve found an almost identical version from Pegasus Menswear for a mere £45.

Get his high-low look by pairing this formal blazer with a longline T-shirt and baggy straight jeans. These bargain looks on the high street will do just the trick.

Accessorise with Neymar’s favourite rosary bead-inspired cross necklace.

Double Denim

Neymar and pal Lewis Hamilton looked flashy at Tommy Hilfiger’s fashion week show in New York

Hanging out at fashion week once again, Neymar was snapped out on the town with his equally as trendy pal Lewis Hamilton.

Both the Formula One star and PSG footballer looked flashy at Tommy Hilfiger’s Autumn/Winter 17 show, even wearing sunglasses in the dark.

In fact, Neymar nodded to rapper Nelly’s early noughties looks with his tinted mask shades and paisley bandana.

But these bold accessories did not distract from his double denim look. He layered an Off-White denim shirt over a pair of Amiri’s MX1 jeans.

His look was grounded with a pair of Nike X Off White Vapormax trainers that are now completely sold out.

It seems that the footballer is also a fan of Off White’s Creative Director Virgin Abloh’s designs.

If you dare to do double denim, make sure you’re not splashing too much cash when it’s such a style risk.

Together this high street offering from H&M and River Island cost £69.99

Trying to save pennies? Just buy a bandana and you’re halfway to looking like Neymar.

The Man in Red

Neymar wore all red when celebrating Christmas in Brazil with his family

Neymar wasn’t dreaming of a white Christmas back in Brazil.

In fact, temperatures were so high in his hometown that he wore a cooler version of a suit with cropped shorts instead of trousers.

Looking like a summer Santa Claus, the football star dressed all in red, even including the Giuseppe Zanotti shoes on his feet.

This £533 pair of loafers are made from buttery suede reinforced with metal caps and fasten with scuba-inspired zips – buy in black from Farfetch now.

Schuh have a very similar pair made from real suede that cost only £21.99 in the sale.

We’ve shopped around on the high street to find Neymar’s festive outfit for a fraction of the cost, where you can look like the footballer for a total of just £78.99.

Ticking all of the boxes

Neymar at Nike’s Mercurial event wearing head-to-toe Nike

Just last week Neymar flew to London to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nike’s iconic Mercurial shoes and the unveiling of a new version of the trainers.

The star studded bash saw footballers Alexis Sanchez, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling and Brazilian Ronaldo arriving to the party in style.

Might’ve been the fact they all turned up in individual Mclaren super cars splashed with the words ‘Mercurial’ on the scissor door.

Neymar was a vision in all Nike; he even grounded his look with the retro Air Jordan III. They launch on the 17th February – find out about the secret sale here.

The 26-year-old looked dapper in a NikeLab essentials Destroyer jacket with a wool body and leather sleeves. You can buy this exact jacket now at END clothing.

This bomber cost him £399 but we’ve found an almost identical version from Stradivarius for only £41.50.

If you can’t get your hands on a pair of Air Jordan IIIs, ground the look with an older version – you’ll save pennies, too.
