The National Assembly has decided to postpone its plenary resumption to January 30, 2024.
This decision comes just two weeks after the assembly passed the ambitious N28.7 trillion budget for the year 2024.
Initially scheduled to resume on January 23, the lawmakers opted for the delay, citing unspecified reasons.
The Clerk to the House of Representatives, Yahaya Danzaria, conveyed this development through a message addressed to all members.
The new date, January 30, has been set for the assembly to reconvene for its plenary session.
