Nabil Fekir’s move to Liverpool is ’99 per cent complete’ as Jurgen Klopp closes in on midfielder

Nabil Fekir’s move to Liverpool is reportedly close to completion as Jurgen Klopp eyes his first signing of the transfer window.

The Lyon midfielder is ’99 per cent’ certain to move to Anfield, according to reports in France.

He was first linked with the Champions League finalists last month and is expected to cost £60million.

Fekir started what is likely to be his final game for Lyon as they took on Nice on Saturday night.

The club’s captain has scored 22 goals in 38 games for his club, inspiring a push for a Champions League place with a standout season.

And asked on Thursday if the Nice match will be his last match, Fekir told France Football : “I do not think about this at all.

“As I said before, my only priority is to win this match against Nice. I am only thinking about this. After the match, we’ll see.”
