In a heartfelt message on the occasion of Moulud Nabiyy, Professor Adeolu Akande, the former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has extended warm greetings to Muslims, calling upon them to draw inspiration from the exemplary virtues of Prophet Muhammad.
Speaking from Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, Professor Akande, a distinguished expert in Comparative Politics, urged the Islamic faithful to embody the profound qualities championed by the Prophet during his lifetime, such as honesty, love, and humility.
“As we celebrate this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, it is important for us to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. He was a pious servant of Allah,” remarked Professor Akande.
“Let us imbibe these virtues and practice them in our dealings with fellow human beings, regardless of their religions and social status in society.”
Continuing his message, Akande also encouraged all Nigerians to lend their unwavering support to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his “RENEWED HOPE AGENDA.” He emphasized the importance of prayers for the president’s success in this significant undertaking.
He further extended warm greetings to President Tinubu and the entire Muslim ummah on the occasion of Moulud Nabiyy.
The Oyo APC chieftain earnestly prayed that Allah would grant them the opportunity to witness many more such occasions on Earth.
