Former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Bosun Oladele has charged stakeholders in the Oyo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) including members to embark on aggressive membership mobilisation as the party’s revalidation and registration exercise enters its second week.
The former lawmaker, also enjoined them to identify and interact with people across the state who have shown genuine interest to join APC.
Oladele, who represented Irepo/Orelope/ Olorunsogo Federal Constituency between 2015-2019 gave the charge on Saturday while addressing party faithful shortly after he revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Ward 1, Unit 5 , in Olorunsogo Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The former Commissioner for Information in the state further noted that quite a number of people have indicated interest to join the APC; for a good reason.
“Politics is local. People of good character have indicated interest to join our party. Progressives’ party is not a secret society, everything we do is transparent, we need to encourage them. Every member should bring at least one new member from other parties to join APC”, he said.
The APC chieftain , who predicted all round victory for the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections, however urged the stakeholders to focus on strengthening the APC for a more rewarding bargain
