Marriott International, Landmark Africa Group sign Renaissance Lagos Hotel Agreement and Marriott Hotel Apartments

International and Landmark Group Africa today announced the signing of the Renaissance Lagos Hotel and Marriott Hotel Apartments in 2020 at Landmark Village, a mixed-use mixed-use business, leisure and lifestyle project along the oceanfront Atlantic Waterfront in Victoria Island, Central Business District of Lagos.

“We are excited to partner with Landmark Africa in this project,” said Alex Kyriakidis, President and Managing Director of Marriott International Middle East and Africa, and as the pace of urbanization accelerates, more guests are looking for the value, convenience and vitality of mixed-use projects. “The Renaissance Lagos and Marriot Hotel Apartments will be an excellent addition to our diverse portfolio in Nigeria, where there is a growing need to stay in luxury hotels for short and long periods of time and we are confident that the two hotels will help fill this gap.”

The 25-storey Renaissance Lagos Hotel will feature 216 fully-serviced rooms, while the Marriot Apartments have 44 spacious rooms suitable for long stays and offer privacy as you would at home. Guests at the hotel have a variety of facilities including local and international restaurants, a spa and a fitness center, an infinity pool and a 100-meter wooden walkway overlooking a vibrant beach club where various water sports can be played.

“Marriott International is synonymous with quality and unique lifestyle experiences around the world, which Landmark Group Africa is always striving to provide,” said Paul O’Nonneb, President of Landmark Executive. “We look forward to welcoming Marriott and its passion to Landmark Village and setting new standards for mixed projects Uses in the region. ”

The Landmark Village project includes offices, luxury apartments, high-end shops and international restaurants. It was designed to be the first project in Lagos to match the Rockefeller Center in New York, the Rosebank in Johannesburg and the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. It stands out as a mixed-use pilot project on the West African coast.
