MARCOS ROJO got over Argentina’s World Cup heartache by jetting off to Mexico with his family on holiday.
The Manchester United defender, 28, whisked wife Eugenia Lusardo away to sunny Tulum, a west-coast town just less than two hours from party resort Cancun.
Pictures show dad-of-two Rojo hugging lingerie model Eugenia, also 28, and holding hands with youngest daughter Martina – born in November 2016 – as they walk along a beach.
The tattooed star – also a father to six-year-old Morena – joined in a game of football with some of the local kids before cooling down in the ocean.
Rojo posted a loved-up picture of himself and Eugenia standing next to the water in their swimsuits.
He captioned it: “I love you.”
Rojo and Eugenia look loved up despite the former Sporting Lisbon ace cheating on her twice.
In 2015, he admitted fitness instructor Sarah Watson, 34, performed a sex act on him – while four other stars tried to watch.
Less than 12 months later Rojo was pictured kissing stunning 19-year-old blonde PR girl Chabeli Trindad Banchero at a nightclub in Buenos Aires.
The birth of Martina looks to have put Rojo and Eugenia’s marriage back on track.
Rojo scored once in Argentina’s disastrous World Cup campaign, a late winner against Nigeria to send them into the last-16.
But Lionel Messi and Co were knocked out the following round by France after a 4-3 thriller.
Rojo thanked his family for supporting him after Argentina were sent home early from Russia.
He wrote on Instagram: “I want to thank my family to my wife to my daughters for being all this time next to me.
“They alone know what happens to be able to be in this cup of the world.
“To my colleagues for being as they are for making everything easier, they are the best in every way. Only we know what happened and live this time was a pleasure band.
“After all the Argentines who were in Russia the truth without words broke all we are unique in the world.
“To those who were in Argentina encouraging from home and school also thanks, with our shortcomings and virtues I am Argentinian until death.
“From now on, wherever I am and where I am from, I will be giving everything for the selection, because it is the greatest thing.”
