Ladoja calls on citizens to join hands with religious leaders to rebuild Nigeria.

THE National Leader of Accord Party (AC), Senator Rashidi Ladoja today called on Nigerians to join hands with religious leaders in rebuilding the country.

The former governor of Oyo State, Ladoja stated this in his Easter message made available to journalists in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital through the state Publicity Secretary, Engineer Akeem Olatunji.

He urged the citizens to continue to preach love and be models in tolerance and forgiveness at all times, adding that this will help to rebuild the country.

Also, the lbadan High Chief admonished them to shun hate speeches and all acts capable of inciting their fellows.

“Senator Rashidi Ladoja urged Nigerians to join hand to rebuild the country with religious leaders preaching love and be models in tolerance and forgiveness.

“We must eschew hate speeches and all acts capable of inciting our followers. We must avoid extravagant and flamboyant life in order to teach our followers simplicity and the need to avoid greed and avarice. These are the things we must do to get out of the doldrums.”

Commenting on the state of things in Oyo State, he implored the residents of the state to be patient with the present administration pending 2019 when the electorates will have the chance to give the party the opportunity to set the state on strong economic footing.

“On the state of things in Oyo State, I urged the citizens to be patient with the present administration pending 2019 when the electorates will have chance to give Accord the opportunity to set Oyo State on strong economic footing even as the essence of Easter is patience, fortitude and tolerance”.
