Kevin De Bruyne’s ‘agent contacted by Real Madrid over potential move’
REAL MADRID have contacted Kevin De Bruyne’s agent over a move for the Manchester City playmaker, according to reports.
City fan website City Watch are claiming that the Spanish giants have talked to Patrick De Koster, who represents the Belgian.
The report says no approach has been made to the club but have informed De Bruyne, 26, of their interest in bringing him to the Bernabeu.
But it is claimed that the former Chelsea star has made it clear he wants to remain at the Etihad despite Real’s interest.
And the report goes as far as saying De Bruyne is ready to sign a new contract in the next few months to stop any more interest in him.
Paris Saint-Germain are another of the European elite reported to be keeping an eye on the former Wolfsburg man’s progress.
De Bruyne has become on of the best players in the Premier League since joining City in a £54million deal in 2015.
And he has been in particularly fine form this term, getting five goals and ten assists in the Prem and Champions League.
City look unstoppable at the minute and are yet to lose any of their opening matches 14 matches.
And they will look to continue that streak on Sunday as they host struggling West Ham.
