JUST IN: Oyo Governor, Makinde Swears In 3 Additional Commissioners With Portfolios

Oyo State governor, Mr. Seyi Makinde on Monday sworn in 3 addition commissioners into the the State Executive Council.

The  three newly inaugurated commissioners are ; Professor Raphael Afonja, Mr Oluwaseun Fakorede and Alhaja Fausat Joke Sanni.

Afonja, a professor of Engineering was appointed as Commissioner for Works and Transport, Fakorede (Commissioner Youth&Sports) and Alhaja Sanni (Commissioner for Women Affairs)

Meanwhile, the newly inaugurated commissioners were screened and confirmed by the Oyo State House of Assembly, last Thursday.

The event had in attendance the Deputy Governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan, the Speaker , Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin Adebo, the  PDP Chairman in the State, Alh Kunmi Mustapha, Deputy National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Prince Diran Odeyemi, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Bisi Ilaka, Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon Olawale Mogbonjubola, all Commissioners and Permanent Secretaries, among others.
