Just In: Groups ‘buy’ N100m APC presidential nomination form for Akpabio

Support groups for Godswill Akpabio has bought the expression of interest and nomination forms for Senator Godswill Akpabio, minister, Niger Delta Affairs Ministry, to contest the 2023 presidential election on the platform of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC)

Major Gen. Garba Audi, who represented the Presidential Support Committee (PSC), and Salma Abubakar, representing the Women and the Northern Youth Forum (NYF) with other members of support groups for Godswill Akpabio, took the forms for the former governor of Akwa Ibom state on Friday at the party’s headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The former Senate Minority leader, Akpabio had on Wednesday, formally declared to contest for the office of the president at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium, Akwa Ibom State, after months of calls from groups, organizations, students, market women, and the downtrodden.
