In Enugu Market, Fire Guts Over 60 Shops {See Photos}

An early morning fire has burnt 68 shops in Amaigbo market in Enugu state.

The cause of the fire is yet to be known, as learnt, however, there are speculations that it may have occurred from a power surge.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, who paid a condolence visit to the traders, directed the Chairman of Enugu North council area to take inventory of the loss caused by the fire and ascertain the cost of reconstructing the market and forward same to his office.
