Ambassador Koussou, a distinguished diplomat and CEO of Dau-O-Gik Oil and Gas, will spearhead discussions on economic diplomacy, trade, and investment, emphasising Nigeria’s rising influence in international business. With his extensive background in the oil and gas industry, he is expected to foster critical dialogues aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s economic potential and boosting its global diplomatic presence.
Speaking about his new appointment, Ambassador Koussou expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future in international trade, stating, “Nigeria is at a turning point, and we have the opportunity to shape a brighter economic future through strategic partnerships and investments.”
The Nigeria Chapter of the BIGWIL Forum, grounded in its core values of Big Vision, Integrity, and Leadership (BIGWIL), will serve as a strategic platform for CEOs, diplomats, and investors to engage in high-level discussions on economic growth. The forum will promote cross-border partnerships, investment opportunities, and innovations, further solidifying Nigeria and Africa’s roles in the global economy.
This initiative marks a milestone for Nigeria’s role in global diplomacy and business, as IHRO-Africa leads efforts to establish a network of professionals committed to transforming the economic landscape across Africa. Under Ambassador Koussou’s leadership, the committee will focus on advancing Nigeria’s and Africa’s economic diplomacy, opening doors to new international opportunities.
In addition to promoting economic diplomacy, the Nigeria Chapter will create a platform for young CEOs to engage in international trade and investment. This initiative is aimed at empowering future business leaders to drive innovation, forge global partnerships, and contribute to Africa’s economic transformation on the world stage.
Ambassador Koussou, recognised as one of the most successful youth leaders in his field, has become a symbol of visionary leadership in both diplomacy and business.
