ICAST boss sets to commission multi-million naira hostel.

ALL arrangements for the official commissioning of a multi-million naira hostel built by the proprietor of International College of Arts, Science and Technology (ICAST), Ibadan, Eng. Dotun Sanusi, have been concluded.

The Ultra-modern hostel will be commissioned on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Elebu area, a suburb of Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The multi-million naira hostel, a one of its kind in Ibadan, Oyo state capital, was built not only to provide pristine comforts for the school’s intakes while in the hostel but also to ensure maximum concentrations for the students during their curricular activities while in school.

According to the release which was made available to the newsmen by the Chairman, Planning Committee for the official commissioning of the hostel, Mr. Babatunde Olaniyi, popularly known as ‘Ti O Common’, stated that the multi-million Naira edifice can compete favourably with any hostel in any citadel of learning in the world.

In his words, “ICAST ultra-modern hostel can accommodate thousands of students conveniently at the same time without any adverse effect on the facilities in the hostel. Besides the spacious and less crowded room, the hostel has solar powered electricity and 500 KVA generating set which is to ensure 24-hour electricity supply to the hostel.

“The hostel’s infirmary is equipped with the medical equipments and personnel which can be likened with ones you will see in any standard hospital and there is also standard sporting facilities which the students will be making use of for their extra-curricular activities”, he concluded.

ICAST School was established in September, 2011 as a beacon of light and has grown into full capacity of international standard.

The building of the hostel by the school’s proprietor which is now ready for commissioning complements the standard of the school and the proprietor’s vision of holistic education.
