Gunmen who ‘invaded’ Sunday Igboho’s house dressed as Nigerian soldiers – Aide

The Soka Ibadan residence of Yoruba Nation Agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as ‘Sunday Igboho’ was reportedly attacked in the early hours of Thursday by some gunmen

The attackers, as learnt raided his house l around 1:00 a.m, and reportedly shot some of the residents.

Confirmed the development, Sunday Igboho’s spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, explained that the gunmen were seen in military uniforms when carrying out the attack which lasted for hours.

Also, witnesses in the area said there was pandemonium in the Soka community in the early hours of the morning following the gunshots.

Igboho’s vehicles, including his G-wagon, Prado Jeep, and some properties such as furniture , and windows, among others were destroyed.

Some people were allegedly killed by the assailants, alleging that the bodies of those shot were taken away while one woman was reportedly abducted in the process.

As of press time, Oyo State police command is yet to respond to the incident.
