The latest collaboration of two United States of America-based Nigerians, Bobby Blane, and Farky Farkunle to produce ‘Omotena’ has been dominating the Nigerian airwaves and all notable online music streaming platforms.
The three minutes thirty seconds dancehall song is doing well on the Nigerian music scenes according to the volume of its downloads monitored on Spotify, Boomplay, and Audiomack
Delivering unparalleled afrobeat delicacies from the studio, Farky Farkunle who was in Ibadan recently told newsmen that he brings to dance floors what one can only describe as a melodic, groovy, and hypnotizing sonic journey. Continuing on an upward trend, he has previously released mesmerizing afrobeat EP, Konko & Below which he channeled after the great Lagbaja.
The two Afrobeats singers and songwriters employ catchy lyrics and melodic ad-libs to give the song a distinct flavor, according to Farky “as a young artist, creating good music is a priority for me, and in this way, I have the opportunity to create magic for my fans and lovers of good music all over the world with Omotena”.
Bobby Blane is a Nigerian-born artist who takes pride in being sonically experimental. His sound is shaped mainly by the likes of Burna boy, coal, wizkid, David, drake, and Travis Scott, and he ensures his African essence is in every genre he encounters, making him an Afro-fusion artist to pay attention to.
