BARRING any last minute changes, the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has concluded plans to reshuffle the cabinet, Mega Icon Magazine exclusively gathered.
Top sources in the know, who confided in Mega Icon Magazine disclosed that, the development is coming on the heels of the resolve by the governor to improve the quality of governance ahead of 2019.
Some of those considered to be technocrats, as learnt have been scheduled to be replaced by those described as core politicians who understands the political dynamics.
Our further checks also revealed that the governor and the leadership of APC have identified some notable names believed to have political and administrative pedigree to improve massively upon the present narrative.
Mega Icon Magazine sources hinted further that the situation has already generated strong anxiety among the government officials as they currently ponder over those to be appointed and replaced.
According to one of our sources, who pleaded strictly on the condition of anonymity, informed that the decision to embark on the cabinet shakeup was to reposition the party towards 2019.
Commissioners for Health, Land and Housing, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan and Mr Issac Omodewu among other cabinet members had earlier joined the governorship race, while others are expected to disclose their political ambitions in not too distance future.
Also, highly impeccable sources who spoke on the matter with our reporter added that identification and compilation of names of those considered appropriate has already begun.
Though, it was not clear when the cabinet reshuffle meant will be carried out but one of our top sources simply described it as imminent
