Ex-Oyo Lawmaker, Abioye Makes Case For Empowerment Of Less Privileged

A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Adegboyega Mathew Abioye has charged the well meaning people in the society to always use their wealth and resources to impact positively in the lives of the less privileged as this is the only way they can make the society better.

Hon. Abioye, who was a two time member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ogo Oluwa/Surulere State constituency gave the charge while donating some food items and cash to Omolayo Home for the Needs and less privileged, Ibadan to mark his birthday on Saturday 11th January, 2020.

The ex-lawmaker,  who is the leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogo Oluwa local government area was full of excitement identifying with the less privileged said, it was his usual practice to celebrate his birthday with the less privileged, adding that once this is done, he was fulfilled celebrating his birthday.

While calling on the people to continue to support the Governor Seyi Makinde led administration, Abioye who described the governor’s victory at the Supreme Court judgment as ‘divine arrangement’, stressed that the vision of  Governor Makinde is to build a better future for everybody in Oyo State through all his developmental agenda.

The celebrant who used the occasion to give thanks to Almighty God for sustaining his life, added that it was the grace of God that has allowed him to be alive.

He expressed his appreciation to his family, friends and supporters who have come to celebrate with him, promising to continue to render selfless service to the people in any capacity he may finds himself.
