ALHAJI Yekeen Popoola, former council boss of Irepo Local Government Area of Oyo state has returned to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The former ALGON chairman, Popoola had joined ADC in 2018 through the Unity Forum, the breakaway faction of the Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress citing “a lack of transparency, imposition and accountability” in APC.
Confirming this to our reporter, Popoola’s close ally who confided in Mega Icon Magazine disclosed that he reached the decision after an intense debate with his supporters.
The Kishi born politician few months ago left the party for African Democratic Congress (ADC) after he was removed as council boss having spent almost 6 years.
