EID EL FITRI : ‘Promote peace, be security conscious’ – Akintola tasks Muslim faithfuls

After 30 days of fasting and daily supplication to Allah, an Oyo state All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant, Chief Adeniyi Akintola has charged Muslims to do everything with peace as its centerpiece.

Akintola also called on Nigerians to be vigilant and security-conscious so that miscreants will not seize laxity on the part of the people to wreak havoc.

He stated this while greeting brothers and sisters in Islam for the successful completion of an important one of the pillars upon which Islam stands and that is fasting during Ramadan being rounded off with prayers at the Eid (el Fitri).

He lauded the patience with which citizens have borne the security and economic hardship in the country.

The APC chieftain further assured them that solutions to these problems are around the corner with all hands on deck.

He, however enjoined all to have a peaceful and joyous celebration.
